In the Commercial sector we worked on a new headquarters building in Navan, Co.Meath for Generali. This was 2500m² over two levels and in tandem with KMD Architects, we ensured the air tightness, U values and thermal bridging of the building were optimised. Our philosophy is to maximise the passive qualities of the building as these are working for the client every day at no additional cost. For this office, a floor displacement air conditioning solution was used that allowed the client the flexibility to re-organise the space and harness significant periods of free cooling due to the high volumes of fresh air delivered.
