As part of the re-development of the old Dun Laoghaire Golf Club lands, a series of new homes are being built by Cosgrave Developments on a phased basis. We are the building services engineers on these homes which are the benchmark in Dublin for compliance with Part L Regulations and energy efficiency. Currently the houses being constructed are A2 rated units and have an expected annual energy bill of under €1,200 a year for all heating and hot water, based on an internal area of 2,400 ft2. This has been done using a traditional, easy to maintain, gas boiler installation and PV’s.
