Constructed in 2007/8 this site has 283 apartments, spread over 8 blocks, all connected to a centralised boiler plant room. Each apartment has a local substation that monitors the heat (energy) used and generates instantaneous hot water via a heat exchanger therein. Each apartment has a resultant space saving, there is no gas routed through the buildings, no flues through the façade and no risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
