We were retained for the re-development of an institutional investment fund HQ on Hume Street Dublin 2. This was a 1970’s mock Georgian building, circa 2000m², with a downstand beam construction supporting the floor slabs. We installed an active chilled beam system that fitted within the downstands and allowed the ceiling height to be maximised. With the higher chilled water temperatures associated with the chilled beams we were able to improve the overall efficiency of the building from a BER rating of F to C.
